About Me
My name is Makaylan Brooks, and I am the Agricultural Education teacher at Hobart Public Schools. I grew up in East Texas, and graduated HS from Martins Mill ISD in 2012. I grew up heavily involved in multiple organizations and competitions; FFA, 4-H, UIL, FCA, NHS, and more. I then received my Associates Degree from Redlands Community College in 2014. I was a part of the Beef Team, Aggie Club, and Ag Ambassadors. I continued my education at Missouri State University and graduated with my Bachelors Degree in the fall of 2015. I met my husband, Kenneth Brooks, at a pig sale in 2016. We raise show pigs, run commercial cattle, and have four fun and beautiful dogs and two cats!
