About Me
Mrs. Joy Porter is a 1997 graduate of Hobart High School. After high school, Mrs. Porter attended Oklahoma State University where she received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Journalism and Broadcasting in 2001. Mrs. Porter moved back to Southwest Oklahoma, and she began working as a counselor/advisor and an instructor at Western Oklahoma State College in Altus. In 2004, Mrs. Porter received her Master's of Education degree from East Central University in Ada. After working six years at Western Oklahoma State University, Mrs. Porter is now in her 14th year of teaching at Hobart High School. Mrs. Porter and her husband, Brett, have been married for 19 years. Her and Her husband have two children Reese (10th grade) and Pearse (6th grade). Mrs. Porter loves spending time with her family, going to the lake, going shopping with her close friends, and going to Bearcat and OSU football games.
